Alexandra Jackson, fund manager of the Rathbones UK Opportunities fund, has been promoted to director of equities at the firm, according to a recent update on LinkedIn.
Jackson has been with Rathbones Asset Management for almost 20 years, having started as an investment analyst, before becoming assistant fund manager on the Rathbone Global Opportunities fund and eventually moving to full time manager.
Over the course of her career, she has delivered a 129.6% total return to investors, according to data from FE fundinfo.

Tom Carroll, CEO of Rathbones Asset Management, explained that Jackson will be responsible for “representing the equities function with key internal and external stakeholders” as well as the development of investment talent.
“Promoting from within reinforces continuity across the equities platform,” Carroll added.
“Alexandra’s leadership will be instrumental as we continue to strengthen our market positioning and deliver long-term value for clients.”
Carroll said there will be no change in reporting lines as a result of Jackson’s promotion.
