BINGHAMTON, N.Y. (WBNG) — The Broome County Regional Farmers Market is hosting a special Holiday Upcycled Market for those interested in sustainable shopping this season.

Vendors include local artisans, community partners, clothing shops, bakeries, and more.

The market will feature gently-used clothing, craft supplies, and holiday decor swap for community members, and a mending station to repair ripped or damaged clothes.

Certain vendors are also collecting items to be repurposed into tasteful treasures:

  • Thready or Not is collecting guitar strings or old sports apparel to be made into unique gifts.
  • Valerie’s Bags is collecting pet, livestock, or bird feed bags to be made into tote bags.
  • Chicky’s is collecting squeezed citrus, bruised fruit, sourdough discard, whey or paper bags with handles to be used in their kitchens.

The Upcycled Market will be held on Nov. 20, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 840 Upper Front St., Binghamton,
