Wellington Industrial Estate in Coseley has secured a series of new occupiers following the completion of an extensive refurbishment programme earlier this year.

The upgraded estate has attracted interest from a range of industrial, logistics and construction businesses seeking space.

Horton’s, the owner of the estate, has now confirmed five new lettings across its refurbished stock.

The largest transaction sees Flexwin Co, a specialist provider of tailored packaging and logistics services, take a 10-year lease on Unit 60, a 17,144 sq ft warehouse.

Further deals include Dudley Council, which has agreed a two-year lease on Unit 54 (19,758 sq ft), and Hascelik UK, a steel manufacturing and supply business, which has secured a five-year term on Unit 55, covering 15,277 sq ft.

Two additional occupiers, Quinton Concrete Services and Actismart, a solar panel and EV charger installation firm, have taken space within the estate’s newly constructed double-height small industrial units, part of the estate’s modernised offer for growing SMEs.

These lettings follow an investment programme that has delivered a range of industrial units from 15,000 to 40,000 sq ft, several of which are equipped with heavy-duty overhead cranes to support advanced manufacturing and engineering operations.

Jeremy Boothroyd of Hortons said: “It’s great to welcome five new tenants to the estate so soon after completing the refurbishment. Wellington Industrial Estate is now exceptionally well placed to meet ongoing demand for modern, accessible industrial space. The pace of lettings reflects both the quality of the scheme and the strength of its location, and interest in the remaining units continues to be very healthy.”
