Geese have been taking the music world by storm, with some already calling them Gen Z’s first great American rock band. Every date on their U.S. tour has officially sold out, resulting in a surge in ticket prices on the secondary market. Tickets originally priced at around $35 are being listed for over $500 on resale sites. As their fanbase continues to grow, the band is doing its part to protect fans from ticket scalping by partnering with CashorTrade, the world’s only face-value ticket exchange, to ensure that real fans, not scalpers, get access to tickets.
Through the partnership, Geese will redirect their sold-out shows’ ticket links to their official CashorTrade profile, where fans can buy, sell, and trade tickets for face value only.
“Geese are doing what every artist should — standing up for their fans and taking back control of the resale market,” said Brando Rich, CEO of CashorTrade. “We’re thrilled to partner with a band that shares our mission of fairness and transparency in live music.”
To kick off the initiative, CashorTrade is offering an exclusive ticket drop for two sold-out Geese shows—October 26th at Wonder Ballroom in Portland, OR, and October 31st at Quartyard in San Diego, CA. Fans can score face-value tickets to these highly sought-after dates and browse or list tickets via Geese’s official CashorTrade page.
Geese recently performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! after marking the release of their third album, Getting Killed, with a free hometown show at Brooklyn’s Banker’s Anchor. Watch fan-shot highlights from the historic Banker’s Anchor show along with the band’s appearance on Kimmel below.
