U.S. stock-market futures on Friday pointed to strong opening gains in the technology sector as Amazon.com and Apple shares advanced.
Dow Jones Industrial Average futures rose 0.03%, to 47691.
S&P 500 futures gained 0.6% to 6897.
Nasdaq-100 futures increased 1.1%, to 26165.
All three of the major indexes dropped on Thursday, led by a 1.6% retreat for the Nasdaq, after Meta revealed aggressive spending plans and as Nvidia didn’t get clarity on resuming microchip sales to China.
