What candidates need to do after allotment

Candidates whose names appear in the allotment list should log in and download their provisional allotment letter. The prospectus states that candidates must report to the allotted college with the original documents for verification. The college confirms admission after checking the documents and entering them on the portal.

The prospectus also makes an important distinction between the first and subsequent rounds. The Freeze/Float option applies to the first admission allotment round. Float allows a candidate to accept the allotted seat while being considered for a higher-preference choice in the second round.

For candidates who had selected Float in Round 1 and receive another seat in Round 2, the prospectus says they do not have to repeat document verification or pay the seat acceptance fee at the college.

After Round 2 reporting, the college-wise and category-wise cutoff and vacancies for Round 3 will be displayed on August 27. Third-round preferences can then be submitted on August 27 and 28, with the Round 3 allotment scheduled for August 31 after 5.30 pm.
