A fascinating moment involving a Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) fan triggered a massive buzz on social media. The incident took place during SRH’s match against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in Hyderabad on Saturday. As the contest hung in balance, a SRH fan was seen performing a ritual on a lemon, which has now gone viral on social media. Soon after completing it he pointed the lemon towards the field of play and coincidentally Shivam Dube got castled in the very next ball.
While this could just be a case of major coincidence, internet is filled with reactions, teasing it as an act of black magic. Some users even shared a fabricated CSK document, which stated that the franchise has decided to lodge a complaint with the BCCI over SRH fans using supernatural powers to disrupt their momentum.

However, what started as joke has suddenly turned serious as Lalit Modi, founder of the IPL, has made some shocking allegations on similar lines. Reacting to the fake post impersonating CSK, Modi said such incidents were brought to his notice during the 2011 season. Modi claimed that he was alerted about such activities by “some team owner” and was given “concrete proof”. He then promised to disclose the individual behind it in a movie or TV series in future as proposed by his team.
