Gold jumps 3.41% to Rs 1,43,851, silver surges over 5% to Rs 2,35,820 as bulls return
Bullion saw a strong comeback on March 25, with buying picking up sharply across both domestic and global markets. MCX gold rallied Rs 4,744, or 3.41%, to Rs 1,43,851 per 10 grams from the previous close of Rs 1,39,107, while silver outperformed, jumping Rs 11,879, or 5.3%, to Rs 2,35,820 per kg compared to Rs 2,23,941. Around 13:31 IST, the momentum remained firmly positive. Globally too, the tone was upbeat, with Comex gold rising 3.24% to $4,544.50 and silver climbing 5.13% to $73.135, signalling a sharp rebound after recent losses.
