MCX gold up 0.63% at Rs 1,48,180, silver gains 1.16% at Rs 2,30,600; Comex silver rises 1.54%
Bullion prices remained in the green on March 30, though gains cooled slightly from earlier levels. MCX gold rose Rs 925, or 0.63%, to Rs 1,48,180 per 10 grams from the previous close of Rs 1,47,255, while silver held stronger, up Rs 2,646, or 1.16%, at Rs 2,30,600 per kg compared to Rs 2,27,954. Around 16:24 IST, the trend was still positive, just a bit more measured. Globally, Comex gold edged up 0.83% to $4,529.80, while silver gained 1.54% to $70.870, suggesting steady underlying support in bullion.
