Landlord iBox has let a 63,000 sq ft unit to Mersey Container Services, taking the Aintree complex to 100% occupancy.
LM6 and B8RE are retained as joint agents at the park.
Unit C, extending to 63,415 sqft has been taken by Mersey Container Services in the fourth deal at the estate within an 18-month periodf that has seen a proactive asset management programme led by M7 Real Estate.
LM6 said the estate has benefited from a coordinated programme of refurbishment, targeted marketing, and hands-on management, all of which have contributed to securing new tenants.
Unit C had been the largest void in the iBox national portfolio. The MCS deal followed an early surrender of the previous occupier’s lease, dilapidations settlement and a subsequent agreement to lease secured during a refurbishment programme.
Anthony O’Keefe, director at LM6, said: “Despite challenging headwinds and a general stasis in the wider market, this latest lease demonstrates the benefits of a robust estate strategy combined with delivery at a local level.
“Liverpool has long been a preferred destination for occupiers seeking well specified, flexible industrial accommodation.
“The ongoing investment programme led by iBox and executed by M7 has further elevated the estate’s profile, ensuring it aligns with modern occupier requirements seeking excellent transport connectivity, strong labour catchment, and proximity to the Port of Liverpool and the wider North West logistics network.”
