Robinhood Markets Inc (NASDAQ:HOOD) will offer round-the-clock trading in select stocks, including on weekends, the company announced at its HOOD Summit 2026.
The company also unveiled Robinhood Agents, AI tools built directly into its app that can research the market, build a strategy and place trades within limits set by the customer. The agents are powered by OpenAI and Anthropic.
Each agent has access only to a dedicated agentic trading account, and manual trade approval is on by default. Robinhood said more than 150,000 customers have already opened agentic trading accounts, and agents are now using its tools nearly 30 million times a day.
A feature called “Loops” is coming next. It will keep checking the market and run a strategy automatically when certain conditions are met.
Robinhood is also adding Agent Apps, which let users plug premium data and tools from providers including Nasdaq, Unusual Whales, SpotGamma, Quiver Quantitative and Token Terminal into their agents. Third-party AI agents will also be able to work inside Robinhood Legend through MCP.
The company announced a series of other trading upgrades as well. These include perpetual futures for U.S. customers, with crypto perpetual futures offering up to 10x leverage, along with new earnings prediction contracts, extended options trading hours, up to 4x intraday margin and OCO orders.
On the platform side, Robinhood is rolling out Robinhood Social broadly and introducing a live earnings experience that combines earnings calls and trading in one place. Robinhood Legend gains dual-display and multi-display support, and a new engine called Helios is designed to deliver faster charts and app performance.
