SBICAP Securities Ltd launched ProZero, a new trading plan that eliminates brokerage fees for intraday equity and derivative trades. The initiative targets retail traders seeking cost-effective trading solutions in India’s competitive brokerage market.
Under the ProZero plan, traders can execute intraday trades in equities and futures and options without paying brokerage charges. Other trading activities continue under SBI Securities’ existing flat fee structure of ₹20 per order. The plan is available across the company’s mobile app and web platforms with no hidden fees or additional platform charges.
“Retail investors today are more astute, faster and increasingly sensitive to fees,” said Suresh Shukla, Chief Business Officer at SBI Securities. “With ProZero, we are not just eliminating brokerage – we are removing hesitation.”
The zero-brokerage offering integrates with SBI Securities’ research and real-time trading platform ecosystem. The company expects the plan to attract both new market participants and experienced high-frequency intraday traders.
SBI Securities, a subsidiary of State Bank of India, operates as a full-service stockbroker offering equity trading, derivatives, mutual funds, and portfolio management services. The ProZero launch represents the firm’s strategy to expand its presence among India’s fee-sensitive retail trading population while maintaining its research-driven service model.
