Brookmead Industrial Estate in Stafford has been fully let following a lettings programme.

The estate on Telford Drive comprises 11 units and is owned by a long-standing private client of property consultancy Fisher German.

It was previously occupied across ten units by Knauf Ceilings before the company relocated its manufacturing operations to Europe, creating a rare large-scale vacancy.

Acting on behalf of the landlord alongside joint agent Harris Lamb, Fisher German delivered a phased re-letting strategy over just over 12 months, securing a range of occupiers across the estate.

Early activity included pre-lettings to Moot Technologies ahead of Knauf’s departure, followed by deals with Specialist Building Products and Alliance Automotive Group.

Unit 11 was subsequently let to Hough Green Garage, while Units 9 and 10 are currently occupied on a short-term basis by Stafford Council.

The completion of the programme reflects sustained demand for mid-sized industrial units in Stafford, particularly those from around 3,300 sq ft upwards, where supply remains limited.

David Newman, partner in the commercial transactional team at Fisher German’s Manchester office said: “The reletting process has taken approximately 12 months from the point of vacancy in October 2025, with strong and consistent demand throughout the marketing period.

“Rental levels have risen in line with the rest of the UK and the region generally, but remain competitive, typically achieving £6 to £7 per sq ft which compares favourably to new build stock that can exceed £11 per sq ft.”
